Finally somebody brought it up. I was 'raised' Christian. I remember when I was barely 10, going to Sunday mass I always questioned their preachings. First of all, I didn't understand all the violence in the Bible and why do they moralize about peace and love. I always raised questions, because I was also confused how can Jesus be alive and god at the same time. I as well didn't understand why women are portrayed as less than men. I was always met with aggressive feedback that I shouldn't ask questions, but only follow. That made even less sense. When I left home at 18 I was finally free and never stepped in church again. I am also wondering why any woman would vote for these religious fanatics. It seems to me that it must be some form of Stockholm syndrome. This is the only explanation that I have.
